Random: House Mix

Little do people know...I actually started DJ'ing when I was in high school. My cousin and I switched off doing our friends' house parties in Fresno (I don't expect most of you to know where Fresno is located, but let's just say it's a city famous for farmers and crystal meth). Anyways, since college, I lost the motivation to spin. It was only until recent that I got back to practicing. Above is a little practice mix I thought I should share. The plan is to do my own monthly party here in Brooklyn. I'll keep you posted when that happens...soon.

Now we know it's been a minute since we've produced any events, but don't you worry because I have been planning many things since I've moved out to NYC. The Weeknd - Thursday

Unless you've been living under a rock this past year, you've probably heard of The Weeknd. Now, I'm not going to give you the 411 on this guy, but I will tell you that this mixtape doesn't disappoint me. THE LAST STOP...New York Transit Music

So I've been living in Brooklyn for a month now. I was able to get a relevant job in mid-town (thank God!) and meet a lot of creative folks that I plan on working with in the near future. I'm still doing my homework when it comes to finding the right music venues to work with. Though, I'm not rushing anything right now since I'm still settling in. Anywho...I've been a huge fan of public transportation here in NYC (mainly because of its ease and A/C). I've also been constantly making playlists, so I don't get bored. Above is a mix that I've been working on the past couple of days that has been inspired by my late nights of taking the subway.
